Get to Know Me
Backstory
Growing up in a small town in central Wisconsin, I always had an appreciation for the little details in life. This is what brought me into the field of marketing communications where I can show that attention to detail in all aspects of my life.

After moving states and finding the cities to hold more opportunities than I cared to admit, I fell in love with the different type of community I saw being built around me. Don't get me wrong, I will still drive out to a random cornfield to go stargazing and find some serenity, but I would be lying if I said the city didn't teach me some key life lessons too.
Currently, I work with people I whole-heartedly enjoy to be around. While my current job may not be exactly where I want to be, it allows me to grow and enhance my communication skills with the people around me, while still giving me the freedom to pursue the other joys of life, such as traveling. We all have to start somewhere. But what we often forget is to enjoy the journey while getting where we want to be in life. Every piece of life is a stepping stone to the next and I am excited to see where my steps take me.

Passions & Hobbies
Photography and writing were some basics hobbies I picked up growing up and they just stuck. To this day, I use my photography to help me with my marketing as I find it holds a stronger value than finding a random photo on the Internet, even if no one knows the difference.

Writing is difficult depending on audience and what you are writing about. Although I can't say I stay consistent in my public writings, I keep up with creative writing and poetry which allows me to have more expression in my writing without needing it to be about marketing.

When I'm not working, you can find me anywhere outside. It doesn't matter what time of year it is, I can always find a reason to be in nature. Snowboarding, hiking and kayaking tend to be my most consistent adventures, although if you add a stop at a local coffee shop, I am guaranteed to join. If I'm forced be to indoors, you can find me in a thrift shop searching for I'm not quite sure what, but you'll hear about it the next time I see you.
